The legalization of a notarially certified document
The documents which are issued by one state and stand good in law in its territory may be used in the territory of a different state only after corresponding notarial certification, if some other conditions are not stipulated by international treaties between these states.
Documents may be certified in two ways: appostille or consular legalization.
| Appostille BIS-Translating renders services of apostilling notarially certified copies and translator signature certification.
In order to use documents in the territories of other states it is necessary to legalize these documents in the state where they were issued. In the first place documents are certified in the Ministry of foreign affairs or other authorized agencies of the state where these documents were issued. The second step is the legalization of documents in a consular office of the state where these documents are going to be provided. |
