Consecutive interpretation - a type of oral interpretation supposing translation of the speaker's words in pauses of his speech. As a rule these pauses are short, because professional interpreters usually make up the translation during the speech and then give their interpretation in pauses.
Consecutive interpretation is generally used on the events with relatively small amount of participants.
